Here at Tommy- Bee Care, we recognize and understand the challenges faced by individuals who are vulnerable, especially if that vulnerability is associated to a learning disability, physical disability, autism or any other impairment, which can pose as a challenge when trying to navigate everyday life. For this reason, we offer outreach services that consider these areas of vulnerability and serve the clients affected.
As well as this, the stigma of having any sort of disability can cause clients to withdraw from reaching out for support, thus making it harder for them to access services within their communities. Our outreach services are designed to eliminate the gap between these individuals and the services available to them and are tailored to ensure that this no longer happens.
For this reason, our team offers a compassionate, patient approach that has an awareness of these barriers and supports clients at the level where they are at. This can range from weekly food shopping, support attending appointments, enjoy meaningful activities, ensuring they are able to access their local GP for necessary medication and ensure that they are engaging with services available to them whether that be probation or crisis interventions.
The team coordinates with multiple agencies in ensuring this support is effective for clients.
