Domiciliary Care

Domiciliary Care, also known as home care, refers to the provision of care services to individuals in their own homes, as opposed to a care facility, i.e. residential or care home. It comprises a range of support services including personal care such as bathing and getting dressed, domestic tasks and other assistance that enables people we support to maintain their independence and quality of life within a familiar setting which is often in the comfort of their own homes.

At Tommy-Bee Care we provide a range of services tailored to meet your needs to ensure you can continue to live and be supported in your own home. We do this by working closely with you and your loved ones to create a personalized care package that meets your individual needs and preferences.

The type of assistance and support offered within our personal care services includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Washing, bathing and showering
  • Support with household chores i.e. laundry and cleaning
  • Assistance in or out of bed in the morning, afternoon or evening
  • Support getting dressed or undressed
  • Help with meal planning, meal preparation, eating and drinking
  • Medication management including support with reminders, prompting and administration of any prescribed medication
  • Companionship, providing friendly company for those living alone
  • Assistance where disabilities may hinder individuals to do certain tasks
